Christmas @ Nicholsons and Rosara (Part 2)

by Rosara Outdoor Style |

Last week, we looked at four of our artisan stall holders who will be joining us this weekend for the annual Nicholsons Christmas Fair, but we have lots more lined up to make this event a truly special day. Whether you are seeking unique gifts, want to enjoy a range of live music, or are looking to buy a beautiful Christmas tree and some stunning decorations, the Nicholsons Christmas Fair has much to offer.

When and Where?

Saturday, 7th December, 2019

10am - 6pm

Nicholson Nurseries, The Park, North Aston, Oxfordshire, OX25 6HL.

The fair is held in our Rosara showroom, so all our stalls will be undercover, whatever the British weather throws our way! We would still recommend wrapping up warmly to ensure you are comfortable.

What Should I Expect?

Lots! We have over 50 artisan stall holders showcasing a huge range of products: beautiful artwork and stunning photography prints; handmade skincare and beauty products; delectable eats and delicious drinks; stylish clothing and elegant accessories… This is the perfect event for finding presents that are unique and beautifully made.

In addition to the gift stalls, we will also have seasonal food and drinks from Buzzy Bees Coffee, The Horsebox Bar Company, Crêpes 'O' Mania and Pollocks, as well as delights from our beautiful Yurt, who will be serving a reduced menu.

The Oxford Christmas Company will also be with us, selling their top of the range, UK grown Christmas trees and stunning decorations – all lovingly created by ethical companies who make their beautiful ranges using sustainable materials.

Any Entertainment?

We have several exciting artists to entertain you as you browse the Christmas delights. We are pleased to announce that talented singer and guitarist Dolly Mavies will be returning this year. Over the past 12 months, Dolly has gone from strength to strength, amassing support from top radio DJs across the country for her ‘breathtakingly atmospheric’ music.

We will also be joined by Three Idle Women – a wonderful trio with a wide-ranging repertoire encompassing both covers and originals. Their expert use of quirky instrumentation and rich vocal harmonies makes a unique listening experience.

Back by popular demand after our Autumn Festival, our Plant Centre horticulturalist Libby will be taking a break from tending to plants, and shows us another string in her bow by playing some folk classics on her violin.

Finally, we are delighted to be bringing a bell ringing group to our fair to really epitomise the sound of Christmas.
